Should I leave money to Friends of the Earth Limited or Trust?22 January 2008
Friends of the Earth is two distinct organisations:
- Friends of the Earth Trust (registered charity)
- Friends of the Earth Limited (limited company)
Most of our work is carried out through the Trust e.g. awareness raising, research and campaigning.
Charities like Friends of the Earth Trust enjoy Gift Aid and are usually exempt from inheritance and capital gains tax - making your money go further.
Increase the value of your legacy by leaving it to Friends of the Earth Trust.
