FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

How can I get involved with hands on conservation projects?

Friends of the Earth champions solutions that protect and support biodiversity. But we don't organise practical conservation work.

If you'd like to work on conservation projects contact the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV).

There are also a wide selection of books and brochures on careers in conservation. Visit your local library or careers office for advice and information.

Volunteer at the frontline of conservation - Earthwatch arranges for self-funded volunteers to spend a holiday assisting researchers.
