Does Friends of the Earth offset?

Friends of the Earth does not use carbon offsetting schemes.

We believe our funding is best spent on campaigns for real world change. Campaigns like The Big Ask for tough UK climate change legislation.

We need incentives for businesses and people to reduce their emissions. Offsetting schemes could encourage the very opposite and should be used only as a last resort.
