Friends of the Earth doesn’t have places in any running events - however you can secure your own place in the following events:
Most people apply for a place in the London Marathon via the Ballot - getting picked depends upon the luck of the draw.
To enter, pick up the August copy of the Marathon News, complete the Ballot entry form and return it to the organisers by the date specified.
The Ballot is drawn in December. Please remember to contact us if you are successful.
You can organise your sponsorship by setting up a Friends of the Earth sponsorship page at Justgiving.com or bmycharity
The British 10K (July, London). Secure your place in this fantastic London run by visiting the website.
Hydro Active Women's Challenge (September, London / Liverpool / Birmingham). Apply online and remember to quote ‘Friends of the Earth’ on your registration form.
The Great Runs (Autumn, Gateshead and Portsmouth). Join thousands of runners in the world’s biggest and best loved half marathons. Places fill up fast - visit the website to book your place.
