FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve raised money for Friends of the Earth by organising an event, where should I send it?

It’s easier if you pay all the money raised into one bank account, and then write a single cheque.

Please send the proceeds no later than six weeks after the completion of your event.

All money should be sent in the form of a cheque, postal order, or CAF cheque and made payable to:

Friends of the Earth Trust,
FREEPOST,
56-58 Alma Street,
Luton LU1 2YZ.

No cash should be sent in the post.

Remember to write the name of your event on the back of your cheque, postal order or CAF voucher.

Sponsorship

The easiest way to collect sponsorship for an event is by setting up a Friends of the Earth page at Justgiving.com or Bmycharity.

You will be given a link to your own fundraising page that you can email to friends, family and colleagues.

However you chose to do it, remember to get your sponsors to gift aid their donations.

Thank you for your support.

Please familiarise yourself with the gift aid scheme as it’s very simple but can make a significant difference to the amount of money raised at no extra cost to you!
