Why do we use telemarketing? |
Telemarketing is one of several ways we raise funds for our campaigns. It's a cost effective means to engage new supporters and update existing ones.
Over 90% of our income is from individual donations. This means embracing all forms of communication to reach different people.
Donating online is the cheapest way for us to receive your contribution – but many people still don't have access to the internet.
Telephone fundraisers should make it clear which charity they are raising funds for.
If you don't wish to give bank details over the phone you can request a paper form in the post. All direct debits are covered by the direct debit guarantee.
If you have any questions about a call you have received please contact us.
We do not ‘cold call'. Only those who show interest in our work are contacted. Please email us if you do not want to receive our calls.
We are members of the Direct Marketing Association and Institute of Fundraising and follow all best practice guidelines.
We've put together some of your most frequent questions, so if there's something you need to know, chances are someone has already asked it. Have a look through the full list to see if you can find what you're looking for.
