MPs mount bucking bronco to show support for planet-friendly farming

"Buck the system - fix the food chain": Friends of the Earth's new Food Chain Campaign calls for urgent support for planet-friendly farming, today (Monday 27 April 2009).

The campaign group is also calling on Ministers to reverse the long-term decline in small farms which is resulting in a loss of 4,000 jobs from farming every year and to tackle the role of corporations - particularly supermarkets - in driving intensive farming through low prices paid to farmers.
