
Friends of the Earth is teaming up with the London School of Economics, Human Rights Watch and The Guardian to host a ground-breaking event on climate change and human rights.
The "Human rights and habitats" conference will be held at the London School of Economics (LSE) on Saturday 26th April.
This thought provoking event will explore opportunities for change and connections between people and the planet
The conference is aimed at environmental and human rights activists as well as interested members of the public
The event will include contributions from Tony Juniper, Executive Director, Friends of the Earth; Tom Porteous, London Director, Human Rights Watch; Conor Gearty, Director, Centre for the Study of Human Rights; Mark Lynas, author of 'Six Degrees: Our Future on a Hotter Planet'
Conference participants will be invited to join two of six workshops on the following themes:
