Don't destroy tiger territory.

3 tigers will protest outside Shell's AGM over the company's exploration plans in Bangladesh. The territory is home to the largest remaining population of tigers.
On Thursday, campaigners will attend Shell's AGM to demand that the company abandons plans for oil exploration in precious tiger territory in Bangladesh. The oil giant intends to explore in the Sundarbans - one of the world's largest remaining areas of intact mangrove forest. FOE is calling on Shell to stay out of all protected areas and invest more of its profits in renewable energy.
Last week, following intense pressure from Friends of the Earth and other campaigners, Shell withdrew from controversial plans to explore for gas in Kithar National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Pakistan. Unfortunately the park is still under threat. Premier Oil, Shell's former partner in the project now intends to go it alone. Premier Oil has its AGM this Wednesday (16 May).
