Giant Inflatable Chainsaw confronts Newbury Bypass workers

Approx. 11 am Wednesday 13 March 1996 A giant chainsaw-shaped balloon will be inflated on the route of Newbury bypass

The location will be decided on day and is dependent on area where work is carried out. Ring 020 7566 1649 for details on Wednesday morning.

A giant inflatable chainsaw will confront contactors working on the controversial Newbury bypass on Wednesday 13 March. It will carry two messages: "No Newbury bypass" and "Stop the chainsaw massacre", and will be inflated close to that days work.

The chainsaw is seventeen feet high, eleven feet wide and fifty feet long.
