Press Release

Friends of the Earth launches new online shop

Oct 25 2006

Friends of the Earth has launched its new online "Shop" offering a range of books covering topics from ethical living to climate change, real food and waste. Shop makes it possible to do your bit for the planet and support Friends of the Earth, all at the click of a mouse.

And the first 50 people to make a purchase at Shop could win a Natural Collection voucher for £100.

As well as stocking Friends of the Earth's own publications - including the must-have title Save Cash and Save the Planet - Shop also offers environmental books from other publishers and books designed for children - providing the ideal place to find exactly the book you are looking for.

Friends of the Earth Publications Officer Anna Walker said:

"Shop is a great way to get the latest books on the environment including Friends of the Earth's full catalogue. It's paper-free, easy to access - and almost all the books on offer are all under £15!"

With all of Friends of the Earth's own publications printed on 100 per cent post-consumer waste, using only vegetable-based inks, they minimise the damage to the environment as well.

And every purchase made through the Friends of the Earth Shop helps fund Friends of the Earth's environmental campaigning work.

Anna Walker continued:

"Shop is a great place to find the perfect environmental present."
