Fuel poverty report is spot on

Reacting to a fuel poverty report published today (Thursday 15 March) by Professor John Hills, Friends of the Earth Energy Campaigner Dave Timms said:

“Professor Hills is spot on - however you define fuel poverty, improving energy efficiency for people on low incomes is the answer.

“We can’t continue to allow the homes of vulnerable people to leak heat, waste money and make them ill.

“It’s a national scandal that millions of people continue to shiver in poorly-insulated homes, yet Government support is being cut - this must change.”
