Nuclear folly

Commenting on British Energy's announcement today of losses of £4.3 billion pounds, Friends of the Earth Energy Campaigner Bryony Worthington said:
"British Energy's appalling losses show yet again the economic folly of nuclear power. Taxpayers money should be spent on reducing demand for energy and renewables instead of keeping this bankrupt company on life support."
