About Us

When and Where

Friends of the Earth local volunteer groups work to improve the environment locally, nationally and internationally.

We aim to connect more people with the environment and persuade politicians, businesses and others to see things differently.

Elmbridge group take action on a range of issues - local, national and international. As well as Climate Change and its effect on the environment, we are actively campaigning on issues such as bees, renewable energy, local transport, GM foods, aviation, and waste recycling to name just a few. We link closely with Friends of the Earth nationally and support their national campaigns.

The group meets every month. We usually meet in Esher in the bar of The Bear as it's central to the regulars. However, we are open to suggestions on meeting locations!

We are always looking for new members and have plenty of things people can do, whatever your skill or interests. If you have any questions or want to get involved, please contact Heather at [email protected].
