A talk by Dr Adam Bates, Earth Sciences, University of Birmingham.

Bees are in the news due to the colony collapse of honeybees. This talk will cover topics such as the life-cycles, ecosystem service provision, conservation, and diversity of bees. It will answer questions such as: what is the difference between a bee and wasp, and what can I do to encourage bees?

Open to the public. Free admission. Free street parking after 6.00pm.
