Certificate in Campaign Organising

We need a climate movement strong enough, broad enough and diverse enough to stop climate change.

Now in its third year, our unique and successful Campaign Organisers programme reveals the secrets behind great local campaigns and provides the skills to make them happen. In 2015 the programme focusses on the issue of Climate Change, and is called Climate Organisers.

We are helping over 60 new and experienced campaigners from Cornwall to Newcastle to organise with their communities for positive environmental change. In some cases this involves working on Friends of the Earth priority issues such as fracking, bees or solar power, in others it means working on local issues.

The Certificate in Campaign Organising

Over the course of a year, we support participants through:

• face-to-face training
• ongoing 1:1 phone and in-person support
• regular skillshares with other participants
• a grant
• our inspiring annual away-weekend Basecamp

On completion and submission of coursework, participants are awarded the Certificate in Campaign Organising, accredited by OCN.

Applications to this year’s course ended on 22 May 2015.
